Hi, I'm Jess, and "I Design That!" is my design studio in sunny Bradenton, Florida.
Ever since I was little, I wanted to be an artist of some sort! After completing a graphic design degree, I worked as a designer in various printing industries before I was able to devote myself full-time to my true love—stationery!—in 2015. I can't get enough of luxurious paper, high-quality pens & colorful envelopes, and just want to share that passion with the world.
I still live in the same area of Florida where I grew up, and find myself inspired by the bold colors and quirky history of my small town. We may be known for our white-sand beaches, but I am more inspired by the southern hospitality displayed by the locals, as well as the colors found in the area's art murals and front-yard gardens.
I enjoy providing customized customer service and a typographic approach to stationery design. I take pride in creating modern spins on traditional monograms, personalized stationery and other gifts infused with my own twist on classic styles. I strive to find the finest papers, envelopes and other supplies so your mail will stand out above all else.
In this day and age of digital communications, I find that a physical piece of mail is a very special way to send messages to your loved ones. I like to think that our friends & family deserve more than an email or a "txt msg" every now and then! My goal is to inspire you to send more mail, write more letters, and keep in contact with your loved ones in a very heartfelt way.
In my spare time, you will most likely find me in the garden or in the garage—I'm a gal that doesn't mind getting her hands dirty! I'm currently turning the yard of my mid-century Florida home into a tropical paradise, planting the most colorful flowers and foliage I can find. If I'm not in the studio or in the garden, you'll find me in my partner's shop—we enjoy tinkering on our BMW's, and regularly participate in high-performance driving events at our local tracks.
